How The Process Works...
STEP 1: THE ESTIMATE
Schedule a consultation call with us so we can give you an estimate over the phone. Now keep in mind, an estimated cost IS NOT a quoted job cost. Estimates are meant to give you an idea of what your project could potentially cost. Don't ever be fooled by a contractor giving you a free estimate and thinking that's all you're going to pay...
This is how homeowners end up going with the "cheaper" guy, only to find out that after their locked into a contract, there is more work and a lot more money being charged in the form of "change orders"...
STEP 2: DESIGN & PLANNING
After you receive the estimate, the next step is to move into the design & planning phase. This is where you will meet with our General Contractor (GC) in your home. Our GC will collect final measurements and will inspect your home for any potential issues or changes in direction that may need to tae place based upon the structure of your home.
That information will then be given to our design team where we work with you to create a design and set of plans that optimizes your space for function & aesthetic.
Once the design is complete, you'll be given a pdf packet of your plans, including all of the 3D drawings, 2D elevations and a completed floorplan.
Our design service requires a soft approval from you on the initial estimate as well as a $1,000.00 retainer for the design & planning services we will provide.
STEP 3: THE QUOTE
Once your design and plans have been completed & approved by you, they will then be sent over to our GC for review. Once reviewed and approved, your plans will be used to create an accurate & detailed line-by-line quote for the actual cost of your remodel.
Your quote will also provide a payment schedule so you'll know the exact phase each payment for your project will be due.
The $1,000.00 design & planning fee will be forwarded to the quoted cost of your remodel and will act as the deposit on your invoice with our GC.
STEP 4: STARTING CONSTRUCTION
After you approve your quote, you will then discuss scheduling your remodel project with our GC. Once scheduling is agreed upon, your materials will be ordered so we can "front-load" the productivity for your project.
Having all of the materials ordered and paid for in the very beginning helps to keep your kitchen remodel on schedule and moving forward as efficiently as possible.
